- The Sample Binder can be used to learn and demonstrate Rae Assist. When demoing to others, you may wish to replace tags and names of Companies and Items as appropriate for a particular industry or job function.
• Sample Binder Scenario:
- Dave Smith is employed by BestView. (All persons and companies are fictitious except Rae Technology, Inc.)
- June 2, 1993 is the current day
- Dave has several business and personal Events, To Do's, and Projects, each of which is linked to other information
- Dave has tagged his people and companies to help him manage his contacts
- To accomplish the To Do "Get new referrals", Dave will call existing "clients" and import the text file "6/2/93 Referrals"
- The comments fields for each object offer useful descriptions
• To use the Sample Binder:
- Go to the Day View for June 2, 1993.
- Open each Event and ToDo and follow its link(s) to see how to you can get things done and return to the Day View
- Open each Project to see how today's activities are part of larger goals
- List people and companies by Tag to see how Dave has organized his contacts
- List and open all Items to see the variety of information Dave keeps at hand
